  1. Keeps products fresh. Better barrier materials and options in flexible packaging and pouches can make your products last longer, giving your consumers more value for their dollar. 

  2. Good for the environment. Film materials are evolving rapidly and new options for sustainable substrates are in the market. Couple this with the significantly reduced energy that it takes to make a pouch, pack it, and ship it, and you have a far more sustainable option than glass or metal.
