Hammer Installs First Shrink Sleeve Cutting Machine
In response to increased customer demand for cut to length shrink sleeve labels, Hammer Packaging has installed a Karlville Cutter 300 to its’ portfolio of label finishing equipment.
“The addition of this cutter to Hammer’s already robust label finishing equipment allows us to increase our already impressive response times for our customers,” shared Karl Wilcox, Technical Director at Hammer Packaging. “The Karlville Cutter 300 compliments our ability to provide shrink sleeve labels to the market pre-cut in individual pieces with expanded perfing capabilities to allow brands to develop creative, functional packaging for consumers.”
Hammer Packaging’s finishing operations allow packaging customers to have a one-stop shop for all of their label needs. Hammer will print the labels and then provide finishing options such as, die-cutting, lamination, embossing, foil stamping, scoring and perforation, so that all of their needs can be met by one supplier. The Hammer finishing process optimizes to minimize cost and accelerates speed-to-market.
